Led by the first Anglican Bishop of Perth, Mathew Blagden Hale, the School began as the Collegiate School for boys, before changing its name to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± in 1929.
Bishop Hale was well known for empowering the South Australian Aboriginal people. His legacy was later honoured with Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½± being one of the first schools in the country to offer an Indigenous Scholarship program and an Aboriginal cultural tour to the Kimberley region.
